Raffles will be held in January and February of this year at several scheduled RSJ Athletic Contests for those who signed up in 2022-23 for prizes for exciting gifts that were donated by our newest Community Sponsor, the Santa Cruz Warriors including 4 tickets to a Santa Cruz Warrior basketball games or a Warrior swag gear prize package. UTI's Bryan Fernandez won the first drawing for 4 Santa Cruz Warriors tickets. Mangold Property Management won the Warrior Swag Gear!

All family and friends with an RSJHS athlete are encouraged to become a member and sport your Booster Hoodie and lawn sign that comes with a low cost $50 dollar membership. 

Proceeds help fund student athletes gear, uniforms, special events and awards. 

Rancho San Juan High School is the newest high school that opened in August 2019 in Salinas however, the school’s athletic facilities and programs need necessary enhancements. The Rancho San Juan Parent Athletic Boosters have reached
out to the business community and others to complete and upgrade the athletic facilities and equipment. To do this, the RSJ Athletic Booster Club is starting its community sponsorship drive for 2022 -2023. 
Current sponsors have their brand signs flying at the new athletic stadium at the school. Our Booster Organization has identified a 2023-24 goal to use funds for state-of-the-art athletic performance equipment for the sports teams. This past year the Boosters combined funding to purchase a $6,000 Basketball Shooting Machine to enhance student training opportunities and needed apparel for teams. This is an opportunity to get your business on board for the upcoming year. 

The next RSJ Booster meeting will be Monday, June 12, 2023 at 6 p.m. in the ASB meeting room. Planning for the July 4th firework sales will be discussed. A slate of officers and committee chairs for 2023-2024 year will be an agenda item for nominations and an election. If interested in becoming involved contact President Sara Hernandez.

• Assist with equipment purchases for sports teams.
• Purchase flowers and individual player photos for senior nights.
• Upgrade facilities with custom purchasing of gymnasium scorer's table.
• Provide swag clothing items for parents in RSJ colors like the Booster Sweatshirts.
• Organize social events and activities for Booster Members.
• Assist coaches in providing identified athlete needs such as the Football Pregame Chow Line for the players the night before games.
• Raise thousands of dollars in funds for RSJ sports teams through fundraisers such as the annual fireworks booth sales.
• Began a community sponsor signage effort which has assisted the basketball teams to purchase a state-of-the-art shooting machine.
• Provide perks for Booster Members such as VIP Parking and special food trucks at home games.
• Purchased a special sound recording music and announcement system for all sports at home contests. 
• Hosted an eighth grade Casa De Fuego Boys basketball tournament with local Salinas middle schools in 2022.
• Help all student support activity groups including the Band Booster Parents as they organize to purchase student band uniforms and assist to sponsor a student Bike Team for RSJ.
• Established our own website for parents and the community to be aware of our efforts along with transparency of funds raised and how they are used on this website. Go to assets on our website to see tax ID approval, tax returns as they are filed, and our proposed budget for the upcoming year.
